How To Make Herb-Infused 🍯
Herbs: Use a single herb or a combination of herb. Herbs such as Rosemary, sage, thyme, mint, lemon balm, lavender, chamomile, rose petals, and pine needles all make lovely infused honeys. My go to is mint with lavender.
Do take note that you need to keep your herbs dry.
Steps to becoming stronger!
1️⃣A light, mild flavored honey generally works best.
2️⃣Herbs should be dry and may be in the form of whole sprigs or separated leaves, buds, and petals.
3️⃣You’ll need clean, dry jars and lids, a wooden spoon or other stirrer, a clean cloth for wiping jar rims, and a strainer
4️⃣Place herbs in the bottom of a jar and fill the jar almost to the top with honey. Stir and wipe the jar rim with a clean cloth. Cover tightly.
5️⃣Let the herbs infuse for at least 5 days, then strain into a clean jar.
