Friends often ask, there are only two of you. When you cook at home, make too little not worth it, make too much – end up wasting. How? 😫
What we do is we repurpose.
- the brown rice we had yesterday night, we make it into porridge the following noon
- the youtiao we had for breakfast, becomes a substitute for side dish in noon
- if we really end up making too much (very unlikely, unless we have the intent ro share with our Neighbours)
We believe in reducing foodwaste because we are privilege to have more than enough. We should treasure it.
