How to keep your hair healthy black with a good diet

Whether it’s work or life, citizens of the modern age are stressed out around the clock. The elderly aren’t the only ones sprouting white hair anymore—plenty of young people are going white as well. A lot of people choose to dye their hair so they can cover up the old, tired look that comes with whitening hair, but hair dye can be harmful to the body. Long-term use can even lead to overall worsened hair quality.

My wife has been facing this problem for sometime now. The challenge here is that we cannot pluck it away because of the myth about plucking away a single white hair will grow another three 😦 plus we do not want to use chemical dye so we did some research on how to achieve healthy black hair with a nourishing diet.

Lotus root

Part of the reason your hair is going white is because your body lacks certain micronutrients. They not only enrich your blood, replenish your energy levels, and are good for your skin, but are also rich in melanin, which is an important nutrient in repairing hair root cells. They’re also rich in vitamins and minerals, turning white hair back into healthy black hair!

Walnuts

Walnuts are a valuable, nutritious food that not only enrich your body with the micronutrients they’re lacking, but also prevent and reduce the growth of white hair. Thin-skinned, sugar-free walnuts are crunchy and delicious. Pop two in your mouth to chew on the go for a snack that nourishes your hair and brain. 

Now Walnuts are very expensive in Singapore. Don’t ask me why, everything in Singapore is expensive. But there is a place where you can get it cheaper than the rest and that is the Albert Center Wholesale Market. It’s the place where we get our dried goods and herbs. Finally,  the very last tip is about honey.

Yes, honey has great nutrition in it we all know that but do you know it can darken and improve the fundamental quality of your hair. Drinking a cup of honey water daily is a healthy treat for you and your hair, guaranteed to get rid of all the white hairs.
